Dr. Ranjit Singh GILL is a graduate of University Malaya Medical School. Following his graduation in 1988, he underwent further surgical training both locally and abroad. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow, United Kingdom.
Having completed his training in orthopaedic surgery, he then pursued his sub- specialization training in Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery. This included training at the Department of Hand & Microsurgery at General Hospital Kuala Lumpur, University of Louisville & Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand & Microsurgery, Louisville, Kentucky, USA and Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, The Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA. He received his Fellowship in Hand & Microsurgery from the University of Louisville and Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand & Microsurgery in 1996. During his training in USA he was involved in numerous research projects and scientific papers. He also authored chapters in the following books:

Upon his return to Malaysia in 1996, Dr. GILL was appointed Consultant Hand Surgeon at the Department of Hand & Microsurgery, General Hospital Kuala Lumpur. He is also a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Hand Surgery at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
He started his private practice in 1998 at Pantai Medical Centre and in 2003 set up Malaysia’s first Hand Unit in the private sector. Dr. GILL is currently Clinical Director of the Hand & Microsurgery Unit at Kuala Lumpur Sport Medicine Centre and Consultant Hand & Microsurgeon at the following hospitals:
