[SMIDEX 2014] Most Innovative SME 2014
The SMIDEX 2014 – ‘SMEs: Connecting the Dots…’ is a reflection of the importance of promoting connections and building networks to leverage the expansion of SMEs as the nation’s economic backbone. Learning from and collaborating with others in the field and beyond will trigger new ideas to augment the formulated development strategies. The SME Innovation Award, which is currently in its fifth year, pay tribute to SMEs which have encouraged product innovations, improving operations and manufacturing system, and advancing service provision. These innovations require changes in thinking style to enhance process revision and adoption of advanced technology, which are vital to ensure that SMEs become more competitive and prominent in local and international markets.
